Meet Early's

Over 90 Years of Quality Food and Friendly Service

In 1925, Early's was just a simple roadside honey stand under a big shade tree on U.S. Highway 31 in serene Spring Hill, Tennessee. Nestled in the beautiful rolling hills, we sold our rich golden honey during the summer and slow-smoked country meats during the winter. Lots of people traveling from the north to sunny Florida, and then back home, stopped to buy our delicious products. That's how folks all over the country got to know Early's.

Eventually, a new interstate highway was built and routed most of our over-the-counter customers away from us. Because our product was the best they'd ever tasted, most of them called and asked us to ship baskets of goodies to them. This was Early's introduction into the mail order business, and today we're the oldest mail order house in the South! We've since shipped our products to presidents, heads of state, Supreme Court judges, NFL owners, stars, CEOs, and thousands of folks just like you. As we grew, we added jams, mixes, cheeses, nuts, and other sausages and country fixins. While we're always looking for new product ideas and better ways to serve our customers, we won't change the promise Mr. Early made to his customers when he first opened his doors...

Featured Recipe

Simple & Easy: Corn & Bacon, yellow onion cookin’

Ingredients:

Early’s Thick Sliced Country Bacon (two slices about 3-4oz)

Corn (can be canned for ease)

White Onion (half)

Cast Iron Pan (Ideally)

This is about as darn easy as it gets! But It’s very delicious and hey, it’s a great starter recipe, maybe you can get the kids to do it for you!

And having it steaming before you get out of bed!

Cook & Prep Time: 15min

Cut your white onion in half

Chop in desired size

Remove pack of Early’s thick sliced hickory smoked bacon (all the hard works been done)

Take your two strands out and slice them in about one centimeter slices

Locate your corn (important to do this before firing up the bacon; trust us, we know from experience and fire alarms)

Get your cast iron pan hot.

Put it on the stove, turn the stove to medium heat and let the pan heat up for 2-3 minutes

Then put your Bacon on the pan

Cook on medium heat for 3-4 min

Then throw your onions in the pan

Cook on medium for 2-3min

The. Turn heat down to low/ medium and cook for another 3min

Then throw your corn in the pan

Cook to desired taste we recommend just another 2-3min

Plate, and perfect side or even full breakfast done!

P.S.

Throw some eggs in the pan, scramble them up (just a couple min) & done!
